Prescott Court, Baschurch – Residential Development

A redevelopment of a former riding stables to provide fifteen attractive homes, including a new build, renovation and extension of the existing buildings on a site of 0.647 hectares (1.6 acres).

J-Ross Developments Ltd initiated the development of a residential site within a popular and historic Shropshire village, utilising existing buildings where possible with a sensitively designed new build, a new roundabout providing turntable access and a gateway feature to the village.

J-Ross Developments successfully devised the project through sensitively converting the established farm buildings to provide the four new residential units. This involved having to relocate the exsitent Equestrian business in accordance to the client’s agreed specifications. It was important that the design of the new residential units was complimentary to the character of the area.

In order to ensure the smooth running of the scheme J-Ross Developments created a new roundabout to gain better access to the site and introduced traffic calming provisions to the road network in the village.
