Premier Inn & Table Table Restaurant- Hotel and Leisure Development

J-Ross Developments Ltd worked in collaboration with its sister companies Elements Europe Ltd and JR Pickstock Ltd to provide a turnkey solution for Whitbread PLC, the end result was a 59 bedroom Premier Inn hotel and a ‘Table Table’ restaurant which formed the start of the “Oswestry Gateway” development.

To provide a turnkey service, from inception to completion, including the delivery of a detailed planning permission, scheme design and to complete the construction of a new 59 bedroom Premier Inn Hotel and Table Table Restaurant.

Utilising Roompod, a fully integrated and structurally load-bearing volumetric modular solution The Pickstock Group were able to cut the development programme by one third. Work began on the £4.75 million project in summer 2008 and the use of modular technology ensured that the scheme was ready for opening in April 2009.The installation process of all room modules, the roof structure, floor ceiling and corridor cassettes lasted just six days. The hotel and restaurant opened on schedule and created over 60 jobs for the local area.

The development is the first stage in establishing Oswestry Gateway as a high quality business park, with opportunities for offices, day nursery, trade counter, motor dealership and employment land.
